Western National Insurance Achievements Recognized by Twin Cities Business Magazine

The December 2006 issue of the Twin Cities Business magazine profiles Western National as a business Success Story in Minnesota. Western National, along with eight other businesses, was selected by the magazine in this 4th year of annual celebrations of success, based on remarkable growth, turnaround and innovation. All companies were selected because they stood out in their "ability to detect opportunities not perceived by others, combined with diligence, marketing acumen, managerial skill and eagerness to achieve."

The article profiling Western National notes the following achievements:

• Premium, asset and surplus growth well above industry averages
• Successful affiliation and integration with Farmers Home Group, thereby expanding into new states
• Recognized by Ward's as a Top 50 Property and Casualty Company for 2 years in a row (out of approximately 3,000 companies in the U.S.)
• Strong relationship with policyholders, the community and partner Independent Insurance Agents

In January 2007, Western National and the other recipients will be honored at a dinner commemorating their success. Stu Henderson, President CEO, had this response to the latest kudos directed at Western National.
