Education and Training
We value education. Regardless of your position, Western National strongly encourages enrollment in property and casualty insurance courses. We'll pay for insurance courses and seminars attended that directly relate to your current position.
- Tuition is fully paid by the company.
- The attainment of the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)
professional designation is highly respected in the company. The
program is comprised of a series of courses/exams covering a broad range of
insurance principles.
- Many employees complete the Program in General Insurance (INS) or any
of the other Insurance Institute of America specialty programs. Only 2
or 3 courses/exams are required to complete one of these certificate
programs.
