Western National seeks a detail-oriented professional with effective communication skills to fill a full-time, Commercial Lines Rater position in our Seattle Commercial Underwriting Department, who will quote, rate, rerate and update policies. Assisting underwriters and agents in rating procedures and entering data into our system are also key responsibilities.

Requirements include familiarity with ISO rules and three or more years of rating experience, strong data entry skills and PC knowledge, the ability to work well in a team setting or independently as needed and the ability to meet required deadlines. Excellent attendance and punctuality a must. Previous commercial rating experience and the willingness to continue insurance education are preferred.
