Western National announces 2014 advertising campaign; partnerships with WCCO, Minnesota Twins, and Gopher Sports
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group today announced that it is partnering with three local media outlets — WCCO, the Minnesota Twins, and Gopher Sports — as a sponsor and advertising partner in 2014. This year’s campaign, which is Western National’s initial launch into broadcast advertising, focuses on building name, logo, and product recognition in the group’s Minnesota and broader Upper Midwest markets. The ads will also highlight the independent insurance agency distribution system as the exclusive source for Western National’s products and services.
Western National’s 2014 campaign will be delivered through a variety of media, with television and radio being the largest components. On television, Western National can be seen during the spring, early summer, and fall of 2014 as an advertiser and sponsor of WCCO’s Weather Watcher Network. On the radio, Western National’s advertisements can be heard during commercial breaks throughout the Minnesota Twins’ 2014 season (on 96.3 K-TWIN in the Twin Cities, and on affiliates throughout the Twins Radio Network). Radio will also include both the 2014 Gopher football season (on KFAN 100.3 and Gopher Radio Network affiliates) and the 2014–2015 Gopher men’s basketball season (on 1500-ESPN and Gopher Radio Network affiliates). Western National will also sponsor select pre-game and post-game features during the Twins and Gopher Sports seasons.
“We’re excited to launch our first ad campaign through partnerships with these popular, respected media outlets in our home state,” said Stuart Henderson, President and CEO of Western National Insurance Group. “We’re confident that these sponsorships will help support our continued growth efforts in the Midwest, as well as those of our independent agency partners, and will introduce a large number of people to Western National Insurance for the first time.”
