Kevin Christy Named a Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society
Western National Insurance Group today announced that Kevin Christy, Vice President - Chief Actuary, has earned the Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society (FCAS) designation, the highest credentials offered by the Casualty Actuary Society (CAS). Through this achievement, Christy joins an elite group of approximately 2,500 Fellows nationwide (3,000 worldwide); he also becomes Western National's first FCAS. He will travel this fall to attend the CAS Annual Meeting & Conferment Ceremony in Seattle, WA.

Kevin received his Bachelor's in Business Administration in Actuarial Science & Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. After starting his insurance career at Capitol Indemnity, he joined Western National in 1999 as an Actuarial Assistant. Kevin served as the Manager of the Research and Development Department for all Western National companies, and was recently appointed Vice President - Chief Actuary.
The Casualty Actuary Society, based in Arlington, VA, is the foremost professional society for casualty actuaries, consisting of over 4,300 members employed by insurance companies, educational institutions, ratemaking organizations, state insurance departments, the federal government, and independent consulting firms.
