The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently released new vehicle ratings for front crash prevention systems. The IIHS, which has been rating front crash prevention systems since 2013, rates vehicles as basic, advanced, or superior. These ratings depend on whether the vehicle offers autobrake and, if so, how effective it is in tests at 12 and 25 mph. Fourteen new models have earned a superior rating and five have earned an advanced rating. Click here to learn more.
