Top 200 U.S. Property-and-Casualty Writers
Western National Insurance Group has once again been named to A.M. Best’s list of the Top 200 U.S. Property-and-Casualty Writers. The 2026 list, which ranks insurers based on 2025 net premiums written, places Western National at #83 for the second consecutive year.

Third Quarter Financials
As a Group, we closed the third quarter with total assets of $3.5 billion, direct written premium of $1.1 billion, and a combined ratio of 93.9%. Although growth has been slower in a competitive, softening market, strong retention continues to support solid profitability. As we approach year-end, our focus remains on disciplined growth that drives long-term performance.
