In September, we welcomed our Agency Sales Team from across our Group for our inaugural Sales and Underwriting Conference, and we also welcomed our Loss Control Team for our annual Loss Control Meeting. Our teams had productive meetings and enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with each other, share new insights, and learn more about how we can continue to improve our service to our customers.
In October, we were proud to welcome the Big I Minnesota and 67 independent agents to our Edina office for a two-day Ruble Graduate Seminar. Our team was glad for the chance to meet some of our agency partners, and for this great education opportunity.
On Thursday, October 24, we welcomed the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation to our Edina office for their “Ignite Your Potential: Panel Discussion” event, which was co-hosted by Sarah Groskreutz, J.D., our Director of Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault at Western National.
The event was attended by 74 people, of which 70 were women and/or femme-identifying individuals, and included five fantastic panelists. We were excited to welcome one of our agency partners from Christensen Group as a panelist, Irene Koelewijn MBA, CPCU, SCLA, API, AIC-M, ARM.
The Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation will host a social event in February 2025, and another panel event in Fall 2025. All are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend these events. For details about future events, as well as access to blog articles and webinars, visit allianceofwomen.org.
On November 19, employees in our Edina office participated in our third-annual mini golf event. The holes were designed by employees from across the office, and attendees were entered into a drawing to win prizes that included gift cards, golf items, and other great items . The afternoon was a success, and a tee-riffic time was had by all!
