Western National Named to Star Tribune 2026 Top Workplaces of Minnesota List

(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune, marking the sixth consecutive year the company has received this prestigious honor. Western National’s recognition as a top workplace year-over-year reinforces its commitment to fostering a culture that reflects its Core Values: Connectiveness, Empowerment, and Accountability.

“We’re incredibly proud to receive this honor again in 2026,” said Rick Long, President and CEO of Western National. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees, who make Western National Insurance Group a welcoming, inspiring, and exceptional place to work. Their contributions create a culture people are proud to be part of and are the reason our Group continues to be recognized as a top workplace.”

Minnesota employers have an opportunity to be recognized as a Top Workplace based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, a third-party employee engagement technology partner. The survey measures engagement, organizational health, and job satisfaction, including whether employees feel respected and supported, empowered to grow, and enabled to execute.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
