Star Tribune Names Western National a 2022 Top 200 Workplace

(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that it has been named one of the Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee survey project from the Star Tribune. Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction.

“To be recognized as a Top Workplace is a source of pride and validation of our journey to remain an employer of choice,” said Rick Long, President and CEO of Western National Insurance Group. “We sincerely thank our employees for contributing their opinions and comments to this survey, and for helping us identify and prioritize the next steps along that same journey.”

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Nearly 4,000 companies were invited to participate. Scores were calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. The analysis included responses from over 79,000 employees at public, private, and nonprofit organizations in Minnesota.

“The companies in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota,” said Michael J. Klingensmith, Star Tribune Publisher. “My congratulations to each of those exceptional companies.”
