Western National Insurance Group Announces Officer Promotions of Dockendorf and Kristjanson

(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Mutual Insurance Company today announced that it has promoted two employees – Rich Dockendorf and Scott Kristjanson – to new Assistant Vice President roles on its officer team, effective immediately. 

 Rich Dockendorf, now Assistant Vice President – Underwriting, joined Western National in 2015 and has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically commercial underwriting. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Saint John’s University. 

 Scott Kristjanson, now Assistant Vice President – Underwriting, joined Western National in 1987 and has held a variety of roles during his time with the company, working first in Personal Lines, then transitioning to Workers Compensation, and Commercial Lines. He was promoted to Director of Underwriting in January 2021.
